Detailed Itinerary – 9 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Tour
Pickup at Marrakech airport or your riad. Easy-paced walking tour of the medina: Koutoubia exterior,
Jemaa el-Fna atmosphere, and souks. Overnight in Marrakech riad.
Cross Tizi n’Tichka (2,260 m) with Atlas viewpoints. Guided visit of Ait Ben Haddou ksar (UNESCO).
Continue to Ouarzazate (Taourirt Kasbah). Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Explore Skoura palm groves and Amridil Kasbah. Drive through the Valley of Roses (El Kelaa M’Gouna).
Sunset viewpoints in Dades. Overnight in Dades Valley.
Short walk inside Todra Gorge. Continue via Tinjdad and Erfoud (dates & fossils). Arrive Merzouga,
switch to camels for a sunset trek into the dunes. Dinner & music at desert camp. Overnight in camp.
Sunrise over dunes, optional sandboarding. 4x4 around Erg Chebbi to Khamlia (Gnawa music),
nomad family tea, seasonal lake (if present). Camel or 4x4 return. Overnight in Merzouga village or camp.
Visit Rissani market (timings vary). Long palm-fringed drive through the Draa Valley,
